In her short bio, Keith listed her occupation as Plumber and the most interesting about her as, "...overcoming being a female plumber and a male name ..." and why she wanted to be on Starcade as "... for fun and to torment Bobby (her son and co-contestant)..." Robert (Bobby) said the most interesting thing about him was his "sense of humor". He definitely had a great sense of humor! They appeared on two Starcade shows - we invited them back to appear on one of our invitational shows. The really had great chemistry together. It was contagious - you had to join them
In July 2009 Robert checked in to say "... It was quite a shock to see a website dedicated to the show. It was definitely a great experience all the way around and the people behind the scenes were really great people. I remember I had a crush on the 17 year old back stage assistant from Tiburon. Anyway if there ever is a reunion show counts us in as well as Dionne Crow who came with us and is my sister's best friend still. Good luck with the website!"
Two days later we heard from his mother Keith, "Hi Keith (McCullar) Boydstun and Robert Turnquist ... Robert called me at home to tell me it wasn't my fault we lost. What a surprise to me. Mommy didn't screw it all up. Not sure what to put in this email but we would like to check in and endorse a reunion of some sort ..."
We are sure she was smiling when she wrote this - even laughing outloud! The were quite the team ... both of them were obviously having lots of fun!
