Lisa was 11 and in the sixth grade when she appeared on STARCADE! She described herself as "friendly ... vivacious ... very talkative". We agree -- she made a great contestant!

In 1999 when she checked in, she told us, "Funny enough I am in the similar business. I am working for a gaming company EASPORTS..." Quite funny actually -- In 1983 EA Sports did not exist, it was part of Electronic Arts - which was producing mostly business software - we were aware of their existance - but we never contacted them since our focus at that time was arcade games and they did not make them. In 1991 Electronic Arts formed the EA Sports Network as a marketing gimmick to promote the sports games it was making. We did contact them as potential suppliers for our show 'The Video Game' which featured home games.

As we said before, Lisa was a great contestant - we have good memories of her. She did not win much but as she said in the questionaire she filled out prior to the taping, "I am pretty good at playing games even if they are new. I never get mad if I lose." She was true to her word.
