• Colin Adkins
    SHOW #67 & #73
    taped: 7/14/1983
Colin during the taping of STARCADE!Colin was one of the all-time great STARCADE! contestants.  He won it all ... the Overall Prize, the Name the Game Prize, the Grand Prize AND when he was invited back to compete against 3 other STARCADE! winners, he won that competition as well. He was unbeatable!

Colin during the taping of STARCADE!Colin was 16 and an avid game player when he was on STARCADE! He found out about STARCADE! tryouts at his local arcade. He described his game playing ability as very good to excellent on some games, others poor. He described himself as 'Good Player' on his Tryout sheet. In that same paperwork, Colin said he, "was very philosophical and loved to think and argue. He became interested in politics in Middle School and "hoped to major in Business before going to Law School." Colin expressed the hope that, "perhaps after establishing myself in law, I will run for office."
COLIN'S OPPONENT
Ron Graham - Ron has not checked in yet. If you know Ron, you might tell him STARCADE! is waiting for him to checkin.
When he checked in, Colin told us he had "gone to law school and became an attorney."  No sign of politics at the moment but who knows what the future holds for this ambitious Starcader.

Colin was not only a great player, a great contestant BUT managed to achieve his goals in life.  Way to go, Colin.

Colin during the taping of STARCADE!Since he appeared on STARCADE! Colin tells us, he's gotten a "Business degree from UC Berkeley, and a JD from the University of San Diego - Traveled to Ireland, England, Wales, Scotland, France, Netherlands, West and East Germany, Slovnia, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary, Corsica, Spain, Portugal, Australia, Mexico and Canada"  Whew!  AND "lived in Berkeley, San Diego, Houston, Las Vegas, Carson City, Ireland and San Francisco" AND "been to the Mardi Gras three times, Octoberfest, Super Bowl, Kentucky Derby, Running of the Bulls, World Cup, Virginia City Camel Races and the Rocky Mountain Oyster Festival!"

Colin ... you've been way too busy ... or you're pulling our leg ... either way, you're definitely an interesting Starcader!
